What’s Wrong With Meee~
Fainting, back aches, knees giving out, achy feet, major baggage under the eyes, constipation, what in the world is going on…I used to *sigh, root of the problem* pride myself in being super-genki–healthy, lively, strong, superwoman that is. Now I’m the most tired, the most cold, and the most problematic.
I had to skip out on campus ministry today because of a strong suggestion that I go to the immigration office ASAP…It was a funny experience. The old lady’s Kansai-ben (deep-south Japanese) was so strong that the staff who was speaking on my behalf couldn’t understand her. Turns out that I can safely go to Thailand, but the visa process needs to start all over again. All it is is mendokusai–a hassle. Thank you so much for your prayers and concerns, I’m not getting deported! Yatta!
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is discord, unity
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is error, truth
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
Divine master, grant me that I may seek
Not so much to be consoled but to console
Not so much to be understood as to understand
Not so much to be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
It is in losing ourselves that we find ourselves
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
